Farewell party
A few months before graduating from the National Defense Academy, an event called a "farewell party" is held.

When I was in the first grade, a senior student in the room said, "It's about time for a farewell party, so prepare for the first year."
Is said? I remember the mark.
The farewell party is a costume event to see off the fourth graders who are graduating. First graders make cosplay costumes for fourth graders. Originally, the first grader manages to make it over holidays and free time. It's a hearty event.

Parade on the table. Products will be awarded to 4th graders (upper ranks) who had good cosplay.
I think it's an unforgettable event that doesn't cause any pain or excitement in the National Defense Academy event.
Graduation dance party
Upon graduation, a grand party will be held in the Shinagawa Prince Hotel's Hiten no Ma. This event is said to have been learned from the US Military Academy West Point and Annapolis of the Navy Military Academy. Each student participates with his / her partner. It's a very gorgeous event.
However, there are surprisingly many dissenting opinions, and there are a certain number of people who ask, "Why do I have to attend a party that I don't want to attend and pay a high participation fee?"

Search for a partner from a group of people who aim to be a sir, etc. and participate. It seems that there are cases where they get married as they are. It's a rare opportunity considering a long life, so it's not bad.
Graduation ceremony
The graduation ceremony is lined up with land, sea, and air personnel. This is one of the few events in the Self-Defense Forces ceremony in which the Prime Minister also participates. It is reported in the media every time. Here, a diploma is awarded, an award is given, and an oath is given. At the end, throw a hat, change into each uniform, and leave the National Defense Academy in a row.
It is sent off by many current students and staff. In front of the gate, the leader of the cheering squad waving a huge flag of 3 to 4 meters and gave us the final cheering.
