Children in orphanages (upper grades of elementary school)

The teacher changed when I was in the 4th grade.

If the teacher changes, so will I.

With that feeling, I decided to take her class seriously.

She was an enthusiastic teacher and wanted to respond.

April of the 4th grade.

I somehow changed my mind without being told by anyone.

I started to get an education like a normal child.

Originally, I was able to study more than the children around me because I had completed math and Japanese language up to one year ahead in the self-study time of the facility.

Being an avid teacher, I had weekly tests on math, Chinese characters, geography, mazes, and more.

There was no inconvenience in daily school life.

Go to school normally, take classes, eat lunch, and play during breaks.

Before I knew it, I was always looking forward to school and couldn't sleep

.

Every day felt like before an excursion.

The children of the facility begin to feel the complex when they reach the third grade of elementary school.

Especially, I really didn't like the days of "athletic meet" and "evacuation drill".

At the athletic meet, other children go back and forth to their parents and are turned around the camera, and at the evacuation drill, the parents come to pick them up.

The child at the facility has no choice but to endure indescribable emotions that cannot be described in words.

The building where the facility lives changed in the upper grades of elementary school.

There may be various reasons.

This made my life a little tighter.

I get up around 6 am and pray without knowing what it means.

For breakfast, choose bread or rice and eat all at once.

We serve dozens of people in advance, so we can't eat warm food.

Maybe that's why I liked bread.

The diet is managed by a nutritionist, but it's hard to say, but the taste was bad from beginning to end.

After that, I was allowed to go to school, and when the class was over, I went to a friend's house and played.

I got a little freedom.

I envy the atmosphere, games, and toys that I don't have, but give up when I can't help it.

From around 1630, I returned to the facility and set the marathon time.

We do gymnastics together and run 2km to 5km.

This is to participate in a marathon event where children from facilities in the prefecture gather twice a year.

I was good at running, but I didn't like it.

After that, take a bath and eat dinner. Cold rice.

After that, self-study time from 1830 to 1930.

Since I was in elementary school, I stayed alone in the study room and studied for no purpose.

After studying, I was allowed to watch TV for tens of minutes before going to bed.

There was only one TV in the big room.

I think I was looking at what the junior high school students were looking

at from behind.

Before 21:00, prayer time, which also has no meaning, is chanted. After that, I just go to bed.
